Alison Maria Krauss began her music career as a child and was a winner of local contests by the age of 10. Her first recording was her first recording at the age 14. When she was 14, she debuted her solo debut album after being signed to Rounder Records. After that, she was asked to join Alison Krauss Union Station, her current band that she sings together. Her debut album in a group with this band came out in the year 1989.
