Heidi Watney

Heidi Watney (born May 19 1981) is an American sportscaster who works as reporter for Apple TV+.A student at the University of San Diego, her previous broadcasting experience includes work at MLB Network, New England Sports Network in Boston, Time Warner Cable SportsNet in Los Angeles, and two stations in Fresno.Watney was a student at Clovis West High School in Fresno, participating in hurdles, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading. She was a National Merit Scholar. She was a student at the University of San Diego with an academic scholarship. She graduated with distinction in 2003. Watney participated in Miss California USA in 2002 and finished as the first third place. Watney began her career at KMPH-TV in Fresno in September 2003. She started out as the morning traffic reporter before transitioning to the weekend sports anchor and sports reporter for weekdays in 2005. She moved to Massachusetts in 2008 and was hired by New England Sports Network. She worked as an on-game reporter for the Boston Red Sox. Watney was also host of the Ultimate Red Sox Show and the Red Sox Report.In January 2012, Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet as reporter for the LA Galaxy. In November 2012, Watney got employed by MLB Network. There she was for nine years. She was host of Quick Pitch. She joined Apple TV+ in 2022.
